Interesting Facts about Saltillo Tile/Pavers
Saltillo tiles have chipped edges, little craters and
are not always the same size. These are not defects,
they are what make the Saltillo so attractive. Also
their thickness and color will vary even on the same
piece. Saltillo tile are prone to have alkali in the
clay. To eliminate problems they must be properly
sealed and kept sealed.
